November Lock Updates..

So, it's that time again!! My girlfriend Vicki took some update shots of me today and here are some of the shots. Just click on them to see the enlarged photo.

If you'd like to take a look at all of them, check out my November updates in my fotki photo-journal album. I've been documenting my locking journey from day one, like so many other women on that site. It's wonderful to see comments that my locks are inspiring others since I too was inspired by viewing the photo-journals of others that inspired me to lock!

Ciao...

Natacha's,

Your hair is faboulous!!! Please tell me what it is. Is it twisted or locked because your roots look twisted. My hair is relaxed and Im seriously considering sisterlocks. Ive been purusing tons of blogs and came across yours. Why does your locks look so much different from everyone elses. Please give me the low down:>) Is it just your hair texture or are you putting alot of product on to make it look shiny and neat?

Hi Lil' Pisces,

I have traditional locks. I started with TST's (2 strand twists) w/ semi texturized hair. I don't know what might make my hair/locks any different than anyone else's, but every texture differs, so everyone can get slightly different results. I am NOT a product junkie, especially now that I'm locking. I pretty much leave my locks alone between maintenance visits other than the occasional retwist of the front row of my locks (they tend to get bushy because I sweat) and spraying ORS (Organic Root Stimulator) Olive Oil Sheen as needed, not at all daily.

I have a photo-journal of my locks from day one on the fotki site. There is a link to the right of my blog where all my links are posted if you'd like to take a look. I would say I've gone thru all the normal phases as everyone else. It took my hair about a year to fully mature because of my texture.

Hope that info is helpful and feel free to contact me via fotki. You can leave comments as a guest to the site. Feel free to leave a private comment with your email if you'd like to talk further.

Inspirations and blessings,
Nat
